The small and modern Routhier & Darricarrère winery combines the family tradition of cultivating old world vines, with the irreverence of the new world.

The creation of the Routhier & Darricarrère Vineyard,in Rosário do Sul, Campanha Gaúcha Region, is the continuity of the work of this family of French origin, who has been dedicated for ten generations to the cultivation of grapes and the production of wines. This project in Brazil was started in 2002, by the brothers Pierre and Jean Daniel Darricarrère, French, raised in Uruguay, who came to Brazil in the 70s to study. Along with the citrus fruit planting project, they planted 6 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay vines with their Canadian partner Michel Routhier.
